To help us manage the volume of traffic and number of participants having kit checks at any one time, please see the attached for your arrival time at Wheatley Hill on the day of the event.
We can now reveal the meeting point for this years event will be Wheatley Hill Scout Hut. (DH6 3JN)
OS Map number needed for this years Operation Sanctuary will be OS Explorer 305 – Bishop Auckland
The event boundary will be the edge of the map.
The 2nd deadline has now been reached. Any payments not received by today will increase to £15 per fugitive, as per the sign-up terms. This only applies to 14 fugitives from 248 which have been signed up.

After a couple of queries from leaders and some discussion last night, we have agreed to remove the restriction on rucksacks needing to have a waist belt.
Can we please ask all participants still have a rucksack of suitable nature to hold all their personal kit and their share of group kit for a 10-12 mile drop off (as the crow flies). String type shoulder straps are not suitable.
We hope this helps those who would have otherwise found it a challenge to have the correct rucksack.
The website kit list has been updated, consent form kit list has not as most people have already returned them anyway.
